The goal of formative feedback is to help students identify their strengths and weaknesses and target areas that need work.

Why Would I Use Feedback?
Performance-based feedback is a vital part of the education and training process and helps to reinforce good habits while correcting other behaviors. It also provides students an opportunity to reflect on their performance and grow.
When Can I Use Feedback?
Feedback is most effective when provided in a timely manner. Whether given on an assignment or in a clinical setting, feedback should be timely.
