Matthew works with the Academy of Teaching Scholars which is designed to help faculty develop evidence-base teaching skills to support learners across the system. He has a particular focus on inclusive teaching practices with the hopes to build an infrastructure that integrates inclusive practices into all aspects of teaching and learning. Matthew believes by creating more resources to improve diversity, equity, inclusion and justice into classrooms, labs, and clinical learning spaces, we have the opportunity to create systemic change within the IU School of Medicine.
