Introduction to Simulation Education is an opportunity for faculty to learn about clinical simulation and technology.  The session is open to all faculty interested in simulation education and will include lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and a panel discussion.  The lectures will include a background of simulation modalities and technology, followed by an overview of simulation educational theory. Attendees will have a hands-on experience with simulation technologies available at Fairbanks Hall.

Quality Systems Coaches (QSCs) will teach and evaluate a small group of medical students in systems-based practice through an innovative virtual health system (vHS) curriculum using a teaching electronic medical record (tEMR) developed with the AMA Accelerating Change in Medical Education grant.

The Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) School of Science, in partnership with Indiana University First Lady Laurie Burns McRobbie, will host the Women in Science Forum. The Women in Science Forum will feature a panel discussion and research presentations by undergraduate women whose areas of studies include biology, chemistry, mathematics, neuroscience and physics.
