Feng Zhang, Ph.D. will present his lecture “Genome Editing: Development and Applications” on Thursday, August 30, followed by a reception. The Mark Brothers Award was established in 1997 in honor of Dr. Mark’s older brothers who emigrated from Canton, China. They settled in South Bend, Indiana where they built a successful restaurant business. Due to their reverence and respect for higher education, Dr. Mark’s brothers supported his pursuit of a career in medicine.
