Women have achieved significant accomplishments in medicine and science, yet comprise a relatively small proportion of faculty, especially at the highest ranks and positions of leadership. As a result, women faculty tend to have smaller professional networks than male colleagues and have fewer role models of success. The Stepping Stones of Women in Leadership series is intended to create a forum where all faculty and students can learn about professional development through hearing the personal career journeys of successful women. Please join us in honoring the career of the 2015 Steven C. Beering Award winner, Laurie H. Glimcher, M.D.
