In light of the violence in Orlando, support for the LGBTQ community is more important than ever. Faculty with interest and expertise in providing care for LGBTQ Indiana residents should consider adding their profile on Outcare, Indiana’s online resource for information about LGBTQ health.

Hosted by the IUSM curriculum leadership team, these 45-minute sessions will open with a 15-minute progress overview with the remaining time devoted to Q&A. Faculty and staff at all campuses are invited to attend, and the meetings will be facilitated through Adobe Connect.

Although widely used in research to analyze and communicate data, graphs and charts are often poorly mastered by researchers. Based on Dr. Jean-luc Doumont's popular book, Trees, Maps, and Theorems, this workshop will provide attendees the skills needed to:
  • Select the appropriate type of image for a given data set and research question
  • Optimize a graph's layout to reveal a study's outcomes
  • Write a caption that is useful for the researcher and reader
