Indiana Healthcare Leadership Academy (IHLA)
Indiana Healthcare Leadership Academy (IHLA) is a series of monthly workshops for mid-career and senior faculty and healthcare executives. The program is a collaboration between the IU School of Medicine, Indiana University Health, Indiana University Medical Group – Primary Care, and Methodist Medical Group. The aim of the program is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the core competencies for healthcare leaders. Combining academic leaders with hospital executives broadens the perspective of each.
The curriculum for IHLA includes the following:
- Star Performance Leadership and Change Leadership
- The Fundamentals of Negotiation
- Meaningful Conflict Management and Dealing with Difficult People
- Health Care Finance
- Health Care Quality
- Strategy and Marketing
