Tier One:
Foundations of Teaching Excellence
Tier one of the Academy of Teaching Scholars is open to all IUSM faculty members.
Participants in tier one earn seven credits with at least one credit in each of the five competencies. Tier one competencies are instructional technology, assessment methods and the scholarship of teaching and learning, instructional strategies, learning theory, and course design.
