- AAMC Leadership Series - The AAMC has just released a free Web-based seminar, created for academic medicine audiences, to acquaint search committees and others with the science of unconscious bias in recruiting. Effective leadership teams are crucial to the success of academic medical centers, yet many fall short in successfully recruiting women and ethnic and racial minorities to top leadership posts. A compelling body of scientific evidence demonstrates that unconscious bias—that is, social stereotypes about certain groups of people that individuals form outside of their own conscious awareness—have a deleterious effect on the search and recruitment process for leaders.

- Physician Assistance Program - IU School of Medicine has contracted with the Indiana State Medical Association Physician Assistance Commission (ISMA-PAC) to coordinate efforts in identifying and assisting IUSM physicians with illnesses impairing their ability to practice medicine
