Our three new leaders in Diversity Affairs will join Dr. Javier Sevilla-Martir, who currently serves as an assistant dean of diversity affairs and associate clinical professor of family medicine.  The teams in OFAPD and the Diversity Affairs are excited to strengthen the culture of diversity and inclusion within the school of medicine.  Please join us to welcome the new team at a reception on Thursday, August 21 from 4:30pm-6pm.

As competition for funding becomes more challenging, getting scholarly work published is more important than ever. Dr. Gopen's approach is based on a single idea: learning to write for the reader allows the writer to control what readers learn.

Current course and clerkship directors, members and leaders from the course development teams as well as other faculty are encouraged to consider applying for leadership roles in the new curriculum.  Applications for statewide course leadership positions for the integrated clerkships (Phase 2) should be submitted by August 11.  Course site leadership position applications are requested as soon as possible. Candidates are expected to upload their CV, statements of experience and interest (for either type role), letter of support from their chair or center director to the IU Canvas website. Click the ‘Enroll in Course’ button, and then click the ‘Go to the Course’ button.
