Women have achieved significant accomplishments in medicine and science, yet comprise a relatively small proportion of faculty, especially at the highest ranks and positions of leadership. As a result, women faculty tend to have smaller professional networks than male colleagues and have fewer role models of success.

The Stepping Stones of Women in Leadership series is intended to create a forum where all faculty and students can learn about professional development through hearing the personal career journeys of successful women. Please join us in honoring the career of Dr. Patricia Treadwell.

The Edward C. Moore Symposium brings the Indiana higher education community together to examine the various instructional strategies that encourage student learning. How might the new digital context help us make higher education meaningful for an expanded population of college students? This keynote presentation by Randy Bass, Ph.D. will explore concrete approaches to this challenge through the lens of educating the whole person, where the role of digitally-enhanced learning is much broader than teaching targeted knowledge and skills.
