SNAPPS is a learner-centered teaching approach where the learner takes an active role in their educational encounter, and the preceptor takes on the role of a facilitator by promoting critical thinking, empowering the learner to have an active role in their education, and serving as a knowledge 'presenter' rather than a knowledge 'source.'

The Evans Fellowship offers mid- and senior- faculty members the opportunity to develop the professional and personal skills required to lead and manage in today’s complex and fast-changing academic health center environment. This program offers a two-year fellowship of leadership training including structured coursework leading to a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the IU Kelley Business of Medicine program, extensive coaching, networking, and mentoring opportunities.
