The Indiana University, through its new Precision Health Initiative, seeks two senior informatics infrastructure directors to lead the design, development, and operation of innovative research informatics services for precision health in Indiana. The successful candidates will be senior leaders in the Indiana Clinical and Translation Sciences Institute at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and Research Affiliates in the Regenstrief Institute Center for Biomedical Informatics. They will collaborate with precision health genomics, immunotherapy, chemical biology and biotherapeutics, and psychosocial and behavior precision health clusters at Indiana University. Successful candidates will have a strong background in medical informatics research, IT systems design, and operations.
The Director of Knowledge Integration will be responsible for the creation of the Precision Health Data Commons. Working with Regenstrief, the Indiana Health Information Exchange, healthcare partners, the State of Indiana, and other data providers, the successful candidate will create a logical data warehouse that integrated medical genomic, lifestyle, environmental data focused on precision health.
The Director of Precision Health Systems provides executive, expert programmatic leadership for the research and development, architectural and implementation design, and implementation and operation, of analytics, workflow, clinical decision support, metrics, and other informatics services to support the Indiana University Precision Health Initiative (PHI). Particularly, the successful candidate will oversee research systems that support precision health research activities, particularly novel population health and precision health studies, clinical trials, and translation to clinical practice for care providers and patients.
