Evidence shows that women faculty may be underutilized as leaders nationally within academic medicine. IUSM is committed to advancing women in medicine and science, and are pleased to provide this workshop to support women faculty members in their career development.

The IUSM Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) symposium provides a collegial and professional environment for faculty, residents and fellows, students, and staff to discuss career advancement, particularly issues of interest to women. This year’s speaker is Reshma Jagsi, M.D., D.Phil. Dr. Jagsi will speak about navigating power differentials, sexism, and gender inequity in academic medicine.
