Creating an environment conducive to learning is the responsibility of all faculty members at IUSM. Unfortunately, our students report mistreatment at higher levels than many other medical schools in the US. In this session, participants will learn how they can help us to mitigate this issue. Attendees will explore definitions of student mistreatment, discuss strategies for holding students accountable in a supportive manner, and identify important connections between learner mistreatment and patient safety.

Faculty Enrichment and Education Development (FEED) is a series of workshops on key topics in faculty development. FEED provides and opportunity for faculty to learn in a collegial enrivonment. Dinner will be served.
