Managing work schedules, attendance and time off can be challenging when laws, policies, and past practices are factored in. In this session, we will examine:

The Fair Labor Standards Act and its impact on work schedules
Types of work schedules
Premium pay applicable to certain work schedules
Tips on managing attendance and time off
Prior to the in-class workshop, please view the online session which will provide the foundation knowledge necessary for the in-class workshop scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, from 9-11 a.m. in Walther Hall (R3), Room 303/305. During the in-class workshop, we will discuss ‘real life’ situations and practical applications for managing them. Come prepared to participate in this interactive workshop; share a situation you are facing if you would like to have guidance on how to handle it.
