IUSM Diversity Awards

IUSM Diversity and the Diversity Council want to honor and recognize graduating medical students and a faculty member who have demonstrated support of and excellence in diversity activities.  First, we are seeking nominations from students, faculty, and staff for the following awards to be given to graduating medical students: Outstanding Diversity Service Award and Commitment to Research Award. If you know a graduating medical student who has demonstrated excellence in these areas, we want your nominations.   Second, we will honor a faculty member who demonstrates and role models commitment to diversity and inclusion at IUSM.   Descriptions and nomination links are below. It is easy to nominate a worthy student or faculty member, simply click on the Nominate button, complete the application form and include a brief description of why the candidate is worthy of an award.  All awards will be presented at the senior graduation banquet in May.
