We know that faculty members keep busy schedules and can’t always attend our faculty development events and programs face-to-face. To serve the needs of our diverse faculty at all nine IUSM education centers, we offer many of our events in polycom, online and on demand formats.

Many of our face-to-face events can be attended live, via Polycom. We also offer live, online seminars using Adobe Connect, a software that can be accessed from any web browser.

Online Modules
OFAPD has partnered with a number of international institutions to create a series of online modules for university faculty. These brief courses (5 - 15 minutes) cover a variety of teaching topics from core clinical teaching skills, to course design, lecturing, giving feedback, and more. They can be accessed at any time, from any computer via Oncourse, IU’s learning management system. Coming soon, we’ll have modules on leadership, management, grantwriting, and mentoring.
